Sweet! (GCD Studios)

They say all trends come full circle over time and believe that is true!  When I first started scrapbooking basic geometric shapes were all the rage and I they are coming back!

I just cant get enough of triangles today!  I love to use them to make a banner or to create a background pattern with, as I did on this layout.
Using the Special Delivery collection from GCD Studios I cut sever squares to 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 and they cut them in half to have 2 triangles.  I did this with several papers so I had lots of patterns to choose from.  When I layered them on my paper I put some on with pop-dots to give the layout some dimension.

Topping the layout off with lots of details like the paint, twine and stickers it has all come together!

Black Ice (Imaginisce)

I love the simplicity of the new Black Ice collection from Imaginisce!  This line is will work for so many occasions from formal wedding to everyday life!

I love on my layout I used several different patterns and they works so well because its all the same color!  The other part I love about Black Ice it will work with any pop color you want!  I had some red in my photo so I went with just a bit of red on my layout!

Enjoy the collection, I am!

Be sure to keep hopping a long to the other Designers, up next is Mary Pat and back to Tombow and Imaginisnce for a chance to win one of these great prizes!

Fathers Day Gift Box (GCD Studio)

It's time to celebrate Father's Day with GCD Studios!  I love shopping for the perfect gift for my dad an helping my son pick out one for my husband but what I love more is packaging these gifts!
This is a kraft take-out container that I bought (in bulk) for previous gift giving but it was just the right size for a special selection of grill seasonings. I was so excited to use the Special Delivery collection to create this treat box!
The Special Delivery collection is a must have for anyone with a boy in their life! This collection is for every age range!

I layered several of these handsome papers to create a wrap around the box and then added some details with twine, paper clips and cut outs.  To top it off I added this adorable bow-tie that I had purchased, nothing says boy like a bow-tie!
Be sure your gift wrap is as special as your gift!
